Walk along the waterfront

The 740-kilometer Waterfront Trail connects Niagara-onthe-Lake to Brockville, passing through Ajax along the route. The walk travels straight along Lake Ontario, providing some breathtaking vistas.


Head to the beach

Paradise Beach is located along the Waterfront Trail, although it is also a stand-alone attraction. It is the major beach area in the town and a terrific spot to spend a sunny day.

The beach is open to the public, however, there are several cottages in the neighborhood, some of which are owned by Torontonians. Nonetheless, it is a welcoming stretch of coastline that is ideal for the entire family.
